⭐ 1 Star This was by far the worst car rental experience I’ve ever had. The store was completely disorganized, and even though there were three employees working, we waited over two hours for a car we already had a reservation for. At one point, every staff member left the store, leaving customers stranded without assistance. What should have taken ten minutes turned into a drawn-out, frustrating ordeal. Absolutely Horrible Customer Service
I had the best car rental experience at the Hertz location in Corpus Christi–South Padre. Ashlyn at the front desk was incredibly kind and accommodating from the moment I arrived. I was in and out with my vehicle in just a few minutes. I rented the car for over a month and got an amazing deal. Returning the car was just as easy—quick and seamless. I’d highly recommend this location to anyone! The upgrade I received the Jeep Compass 2025 was perfect for my extended trip.
Didn't honor hertz 2 hour pickup window. Rude. I bet they never had my car because there were no customers. I walked out and enterprise hooked me up, $100 less to boot. I can compliment the hertz Ai chat which made it dead simple to cancel my reservation and file an official complaint.
I had a really disappointing experience at this Hertz location 3801 South Padre Island Drive in Corpus Christi today August 27 2025. The manager appeared completely uninterested in helping and came across as lazy—he made no effort to assist or even greet properly and this wasnt the first time. I gave them another chance.
