A friend rented moving van to move to Iowa. 3 hrs later about 3 bad tires on road. They called. Company says they have pay for the tires. Sent someone there but was refused since not have that on him and card having issue. So they are still stranded. Not thier fault bad tires. They own van. He rents not own. This guy his friend 2 kids stranded because of this mess.

This is the second time I have rented a car from Hertz at 3801 S Padre Island Dr, Corpus Christi, TX 78415, United States. However, I am not satisfied with the return process, as they always try to find ways to charge me additional fees. Fortunately, I always have evidence proving that I did nothing wrong. Please, stay away this place.!

Everything was great about the rental experience except dealing with the national support when I had a tire issue. That said I will still look to hertz for my next rental. Local folks are fantastic

I had the best car rental experience at the Hertz location in Corpus Christi–South Padre. The woman at the front desk was incredibly kind and accommodating from the moment I arrived. I was in and out with my vehicle in just a few minutes. I rented the car for over a month and got an amazing deal. Returning the car was just as easy—quick and seamless. I’d highly recommend this location to anyone! The upgrade I received the Jeep Compass 2025 was perfect for my extended trip.
