Nissan pathfinder 2025 with 7k miles, fully loaded… Thank you HERTZ for making my favorite SUV available for me to rent! It was amazing especially none of the other rental companies have it!!! NONE :)
Dishonest and deceptive at pick up, charging us for an upgrade when we didn't authorize it. We were asked if a certain car model was ok, we said sure, but it was a car I was unfamiliar with and it was never mentioned that this was in a different rental class than what I had paid to rent. It never even occurred to me that I should ask. Disappointing that even when I reached out to customer service the agent pushed my concerns aside and then failed to respond once the requested documentation was provided.
I booked through Expedia and was hit with an extra $150 in fees + an unmentioned $200 deposit when I got to the counter. The customer service person, Renee, was extremely rude and unhelpful.

Just rented a car for 24 hours. Car reeked of smoke and had a fast food bag. Called to get it resolved but told manager would get back to me, still waiting. Either incompetent employee or disgruntled employee that sabotaged a car. Just got a response from "owner" asking me to copy paste a note to "Support". How stupid!!!!!!!!!! cant even ask me to call them or give me their email so they can apologize or give 100% refund. Hertz will go bankrupt again. Will cancel all my ROC reservations and go to another company.
