I was a 25 year loyal Gold member of Hertz. After my harrowing and dangerous experience renting a car from Hertz at Burlington airport, I will never rent a car from Hertz again. In a twelve hour period, they put me in multiple dangerous situations. First giving me a car that was unfit to drive, and when the tow truck driver showed up, drove me to a maintenance location outside of Burlington and dropped me off in the cold, without access to warm shelter, and without any way for me to get back to the city. Rented a Hertz car out of Boston, customer service was horrible checking in, rude woman who talked down to us. Due to an unprecedented storm on the East coast we had all our flights cancelled here and had to drop off the car at a different airport. This airport ran out of cars and could use ours, but we still got charged ++ extra for doing this as a penalty. Lastly really no snow scrapper/brush in the car…really Hertz??
