Avoid this location. Their card reader is broken (no chip or tap), and the manager was incredibly unprofessional sitting with a hoodie over his head with zero customer service skills. He claimed he was the branch manager but said he “couldn't” manually type in a card. I went to the Hertz Richardson branch instead, and they were able to manually enter the info and get me on the road immediately. Save yourself the headache and go to Richardson.
This location is closed. Hertz refund the funds I spent on the uber coming here, update google maps displaying location is closed! Unacceptable!
This had a Grand Reopening March 31, 2025, with new manager Darvette, and so I recommend ignoring any less-than-positive reviews of the prior business. Their hours are Monday-Friday, 8-4, clearly stated on the door. I reserved a midsize SUV for 10:30 a.m. on a Thursday, and went by the day before, anxious about what I would get. Huge thanks to Ms. Darvette for being incredibly helpful and kind! She made the rental process smooth and hassle-free, and even kept my forgotten items safe until I could pick them up. Her respectful and professional attitude really stood out — truly a pleasure to work with!
What a crazy day, I woke up to find my car stolen right before I had to take my boys to school. Very scary and frustrating to say the least. Fast forward, pass the police report and reporting to my insurance company. I called me hertz near my home. Darvette was amazing!! Left there in less than 20 minutes with a boozhie car she even reminded me to set up the license plate w Ntta and set up my phone in the car. I highly recommend Darvette and this particular Hertz.
