Hertz showed as a perfect rent a car company. We got even better car that we booked.
I would not recommend this Hertz rental at West 55th and i am Hertz Gold 1) I booked the car over a month ago. I showed up at 10:30 AM and was asked did i just book it that day? I said no, I booked it a Month ago. I was told that I should’ve been there at 8 AM as they gave my car away. I received a different car than what I ordered. I also asked if I could have GPS in the car and they told me that they do not offer that anymore. Buena experiencia en la recogida del coche. Personal atendió con amabilidad y respondió a las dudas. Me dieron un coche grande, similar al reservado, sin problemas. El depósito me lo devolvieron rápido, y me cobraron exactamente lo que tenía pendiente.
Absolutely horrible experience. I'm a president's circle member and a perk (as clearly stated on the Hertz website) of it is being guaranteed car availability if a reservation is made at least 48 hours in advance. When I showed up at my reservation time, there was no car available. I asked the woman working the desk what the point of guaranteed availability was and she went to argue saying that nobody is guaranteed availability. Great experience with Hertz. When I arrived, the agent at the counter let me know the car I had reserved wasn't immediately available and asked me to wait a few minutes. After about 10 minutes, she called me over and said, "I hate to see you waiting, don't you want another car?" I happily accepted, and she quickly found a replacement that worked perfectly.
