The rental experience was a positive one but I was deeply disappointed when we got hit with a large unexpected toll fee 2 weeks later on my credit card with no explanation from Hertz. I even asked how to best manage tolls when we checked our car out and was told (by a Hertz rep) as long as we pay tolls in cash we would not get any service fees.
