I would strongly suggest you find somewhere else to get your ride. Went to buy a car from Hertz after reserving it and was sent from the location set on the reservation confirmation to a Hertz in another city. That was inconvenient but not as inconvenient as getting to the other location and being told "those reservations don't mean nothing, they gone get us in trouble with that". Worst customer service ever. Booked 'Hertz manager specials,' day before, using our corporate account. Uber up to location with my daughter, 15 minutes before our scheduled time. Total chaos, not sure who actually worked there, waited about 20 minutes and finally get told, there is no vehicles left. 8:45 AM. My nephew's graduation is on May 28, 2025. On May 23, 2025, I reserved a rental car from 6605 NW Expy, OKC, OK. The rental was scheduled to be picked up on May 27, 2025, at 4:30 pm. I arrived at 4:30 pm to pick up the car. The agent advised me that since I was using a debit card to pay for the rental and a credit card to rent the car, I was unable to upgrade my car, even though I was advised that I could when my reservation was booked. I spent an hour to choose a car, although I had a reservation. The first one was all scratched, the second one did not match the selected category. The third one was slightly scratched, because I realized that all their cars have defects, and I agreed. Then, when I drove out into the light, I saw a small spot on the windshield and now they are billing me to pay for this small spot, which was before my rental, $ 502. I wish I could give a zero. I always use Enterprise and have never had an issue with over 100 rentals. I was given a Malibu at Hertz and the staff took about 45min to get the car ready even though I was the only client- the floors and backroom were filthy. It was a very raining day and my car slid into some gravel. The result was a small dent in the side and a flat tire. "IT HURTZ TO RENT FROM HERTZ" - The absolute worst customer service in the history of business!! I have never been treated so poorly in my entire life!! Like a farm animal with flees!! And I have spent the better part of 60 years in Overland Park, ks - which I love and love the people!! Until I met these Scumbags!! Pathetic!!!! The cars are shit the prices are all over the place one week it this the next week something else.. did I mention balding tires and bad brakes so our lives as Lyft drivers don’t matter just as long as they make money. Don’t do it. You’re gonna get a bad car and have to pay back the money on it while missing days out of work because you have to take it to the mechanic just to be told they can’t fix it.
