After calling their online reservation center, the agent demanded my credit card number upfront to where I said I will provid at the counter and have done so always. I’m not giving my Details over the phone to some stranger
Karie was great. We got delayed by our flight and didn’t arrive until 1230 on Saturday. She had no issue staying past her shift to make sure our vacation started smoothly.
Because of a bfeakdown, I reserved a car at the 15th street Panama City Hertz office thru Expedia. I then called the local office to ask how an undetermined end of a contract would work, and was told that cars are rented based on exact dates and could only be extended if a car was available. Then Salli Osmann, the Hertz person on the phone, asked me why I needed a car. The customer service at this location was disappointing. The overall attitude from the staff felt very standoffish and unwelcoming from the moment I arrived. Instead of making customers feel valued, it seemed like asking questions or needing assistance was viewed as an inconvenience. Multiple employees came across as having an attitude, and interactions felt cold, dismissive, and lacking basic courtesy.
