I should have checked the reviews. I asked if there was a similar class vehicle, 7+ seater, Expedition to Suburban I could slide into and I got what I asked for at TWICE the rate. For 5 days I understand a move from $700 to $1000, but $1400, you’re out of your mind. The guy at the counter acted like he was doing me a favor, sliding the bill quietly at me like I was getting an employee discount. The service at the Hertz counter was satisfactory but the rental car they provided me put my life and other people on the road at extreme risk. The front driver side tire flew off of the car while I was driving and went across 6 lanes of traffic. Miraculously no one was hurt or killed. This is pure negligence on Hertz’s part.
Nice Kia car. I only drove car 25 miles at most however the return info from hertz said I drove 760+ miles. Not that it mattered but I didn't drive anywhere near that!
Never have had a positive experience using this Hertz location in Pensacola Fl. compared to other rental companies.
