Im in the Presidents Cr and in Lexington that means nothing!!! They actually told me long rentals cant get the larger SUVs!! There are other rental car businesses try them Hertz just doesnt care

I was given a car that did not have a full gas tank. I used the car for about 35miles in total and returned it the following day after picking it after 8pm the previous day. On the way back to return the car, I was shocked that it was signaling that it was low on gas, and hence fueled up. I brought this up at the counter and was told that I did not have any proof and that my fuel receipt was not evidence enough. Took forever to pick up my rental. They gave me a car with a bad tire that blew while driving and then charged me for it. The 2nd car was awful. They messed up my return time when I swapped the car and ended up charging me for an extra day. Even though the lady said she’d waive the fee. Will NEVER rent from Hertz again! What a rip off!

The agent at the counter, I think his name was Avery, was fantastic and turned me into a Hertz fan. He went above and beyond to resolve my issue and took ownership of the situation. 10 Stars.

Extremely disappointed with my experience at Hertz. I was told ahead of time that I could pick my rental up one hour early. When I arrived, I was suddenly told I couldn’t. The excuses kept changing — first it was that I wasn’t allowed to get it early, then it was that they “couldn’t give me a dirty car.” Meanwhile, I stood there and watched multiple customers who came in after me receive their vehicles without any issue.
