Hertz rental dispute, Rental Record# 581721781 Friends, Before you rent from Hertz, Please read my story of extortionist charges from Hertz when renting the 1st ever time. I am proceeding to file dispute with my bank and even to take it to BBB. I rented a one day vehicle rental from Hertz on January 18th with scheduled pick up at 6:30pm in LEX airport with scheduled drop off in ORD airport on January 19th at 5:30pm for the initial amount of $121.75 on Dec 23rd. The drop off at location at bluegrass airport in Lexington Kentucky was no help the guys name was Jacob and the only answer he had for me was walking away from me with no answers

Arrived at Lexington airport on Nov 6th at 10:30 pm with a confirmed reservation. Have been Hertz Gold for over 30 years. I arrived and the clerk said “no cars as we are sold out.” His only suggestion was to cancel my reservation so I wouldn’t be charged. After i paid for an Uber to and from my hotel, I rented an Avis the next day for more American Airlines miles than I would have received from Hertz. Got a great car I had a great price. And picking it up and dropping it off only took a few minutes. A great experience
