When you reserved a car and when you come to pick it up you don't find what you reserved
My worst car rental experience. The local agent (a black lady with yellow and red hair) was very unprofessional and rude. I was not given the car I reserved, I received a lower rate dirty buick envision instead. The lady refused to upgrade my rental since they didn't have the car I reserved. I will NEVER rent a car from this location ever again. I would give then zero star if I could
May 20th 2026 Very disappointing experience with this Hertz location. The vehicle was extremely dirty inside and out at pickup and clearly hadn’t been cleaned. The situation got worse when the electric vehicle completely died in an unsafe location, leaving me stranded for nearly three hours. There was no way to call for help from inside the vehicle using the emergency button once it lost power, and it took almost two hours to reach their emergency line. They did not have the car I reserved nor did they call me to let me know they wouldn't have a car for me. They close at 2pm on Sunday so I'm not sure how they expected this interaction to go. Communication with the customer is a very basic expectation. They did not offer any other car at the same rate and it made for a very frustrating experience. The last time I rented, the car had no gas in it. Again, poor customer service with continued aggravation for the customer.
Please don’t rent from this company. They are scammers and will steal your money by overcharging you. The employees are at the Sugar land airport location are very rude and do not explain the process to customers. I rented a truck that cost $132 per day for two days and the vehicle also broke down as well but they took about $700 from my credit card. Don’t rent from this company
