The two stars are for decent car and friendly gentleman working at the counter. However, things went down hill when my $500 deposit was never returned. I stopped in nearly two weeks later to follow up on why I never received it. Unfortunately, I was told it was released awhile back and was advised to contact my bank. BULL SHIT. I did not get the vehicle that I paid for. I got downgraded, but still had to pay for an upgraded vehicle. I have second thoughts about ever using Hertz again, or any of their other car rental companies.
Confirmed Reservation Was Not Honored — Horrible Customer Service I made my Hertz reservation on Wednesday for pickup today and even called yesterday specifically to confirm that my reservation and vehicle were good. Had a cargo van that I rented on June 15th a month before time to pick it up. I go to pick it up and they say it's still in service. They then offered me a Chrysler pacifica I needed to carry food equipment to Nashville from Louisville so that was not gonna work. Nobody called or said anything. If I had not showed up the day before at closing time I would not have known I was not gonna have a vehicle the dusty of pick up. This place has the worst customer service. The guy that was working at the desk was beyond rude and was just playing with his hair and playing with a vape the entire time he was dealing with us. The most unprofessional place I have ever been and will absolutely never return. Hertz has lost my business
