Just to be clear this one star has absolutely nothing to do with this location or the employees. They were great. The manager was amazing and will go above and beyond to help you with any issues. My complaint is solely with this company as a whole. Weeks ago I tried to use the app to prepay for a reservation after an accident. I was charged 3 times and couldn't even see the reservation on the app. I called the location and they said there was no reservation made and gave me the number to corporate to see what happened. I was definitely disappointed after making a reservation for an EV Manager’s Special and being told at pickup that it wasn’t fully charged and that I would need to charge it myself. I was offered a gas vehicle as an alternative, but that defeated the purpose of choosing an EV for my trip. While I appreciate being fully refunded, the situation was still frustrating and not what I expected when making the reservation. Had I known this in advance, I wouldn’t have spent money on an Uber to and from this location.
If I could give this place -1O stars I would. I had reserved a rental weeks ago for a trip yesterday with a pick up time of 11:30 am. I felt the need to called your store to confirm my car would be there and your voicemail said "we're closed." I received no notification that I would not be able to get my rental car. After spending over 2 hours on the phone with "customer service", they were able to find another vehicle but charged almost $200 more. You can better, local Hertz. I very much enjoyed driving the Hyundai Kona. The rental experience was easy while Josh explained things I needed to know. He was knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with.
Hertz clocks run slow. An 8 am reservation apparently doesn't mean 8am as I've been standing outside in the freezing cold for 20 minutes. Called corporate and was told to wait until 830. Why? I reserved pickup for 8am. This place sucks.
