I travel for work and recently tried hertz for a few times. This location single handedly is by far the most horrible unprofessional rental car place i have ever been to. The staff is rude and scammers. You will be overcharged and when you try and get upper managment info they hang up on you. I like renting from hertz but after this experience at this location i will never rent from any location that says hertz again. We booked a car on Expedia.com and read the fine print that said we had to be over 21, but being under 25 came with additional fees, but when we got there after half an hour of driving when we talked to the receptionist all we got was a nope and reservation canceled. Now we have to contact Expedia on our time to get our deposit back.
We were recently hit by a truck and needed something for the week. We're 21 and we're worried about if they would rent to us, but after reading all fine print saw no issue other than fees that may apply for being under 25, which is understandable. Paid and booked a rental, got a ride to the next city over about 30 miles away, just for them to reject us after one look at my husband's age. Waste of time, money, gas and effort. Very misleading and no offers to help us out with any other options.
Nice clean full size car for $60 a day. No bus, etc.
Worse service ever. Quoted $230 to rent a car, charges $1043 WITHOUT warning. Found the charge on my card… called to clarify, no answer. Called the booking company and they confirmed $230, they call Hertz, no answer. Drive to the airport to ask them why I paid 5times the amount… I was treated horribly, the lady at the desk wouldn’t listen to anything I asked, didn’t clarify the receipt and told me that she can’t price match because she isn’t a manager.
