Honestly, I will never return to Hertz. The man was very rude and belittling. Just because you all didn't inform me of your policies before hand, doesn't make me incompetent or stupid. I shouldn't be able to reserve a car, PAY MONEY, get to the location, treated like a moron, and NOT be able to leave with a vehicle. Do better.

Not impressed with the service at this Sarasota location. I came there from Honda of Sarasota because my vehicle needed maintenance. I walked in and was greeted, but I was told it would be a moment and that part of the experience is fine because I understand there is other things going on before I walked into the building. The guy in the front setting up the rental asked what I drive and I responded that it’s a 3rd row seating vehicle and which year.. then he was silent then told me that I would be getting a 2 door Camaro ..... read more

I chose them over another company for a claim with my insurance to repair my vehicle. Venice location never would answer the phone and wasn't able to accommodate my pick up. Then went to Sarasota location, first car they did not go over any details, pulled a car up and said here ya go. 2 days later discovered the car had no working horn. A must in Florida. Have rented multiple times from this location. Also unimpressed by service. This time picking up AND dropping off staff were late and I was forced to sit. I find them to be inflexible. There is no ability to drop off keys for after hours drop off. I have been sick all week and unable to drive so sent my husband over to be added to contract and they would not add him. So he used Ubers all week while car sat in driveway. Years of renting from them, my experience is generally poor. Oh should mention the car was only half way fu... read more
