Spent money on uber driving here to arrive to “no car available” don’t waste your time. Booked on expedia.
No drop off at airport. Took to nearest Hertz rental place. No drop box for “Keys”. Then the saga continues I am charged $ xxx amount of money for not returning to place I rented from. Cause there closed on Sunday. The cost of &xxx money for rental is not worth me renting from the company any more.. I use Uber from now on
Reserved a 3/4 ton truck weeks in advance, was called 30 minutes before pickup and told none were available. Was offered a full size car instead. Not the same seats or luggage capacity. Hertz wanted to charge me $1500 more for a comparable vehicle at another location an hour away. Super offered to cancel with no cancelation fee - how nice.
I will start my by saying that renting from Hertz is a nightmare. It always is. Don't bother making a reservation online. They will never have what their online inventory reflects. Even if you reserve a car and pay for it ahead of time you will still always show up for them to tell you that they don't have any vehicles available. WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! I WILL NEVER EVER EVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE TO RENT. I had cash to cover the whole cost... They don't accept cash, ok went to bank and deposited the money. They don't take a bank card without a soft credit pull.... Why in the hell do they need my credit score when I have the ENTIRE PAYMENT IN MY BANK??????
