Extremely Disappointing Experience at Hertz Fairfield I had one of the worst rental car experiences at Hertz Fairfield. I made a reservation well in advance, expecting the vehicle I reserved to be available upon arrival. Unfortunately, when I got there, I was informed that my reserved vehicle was not available, completely defeating the purpose of making a reservation in the first place. Horrendous experience. Given zero instructions other than return with a full tank. Charhed a 400 detail fee because of “odors”. Doubled the coat of the rental. Complete clown show, will never rent from hertz again .
Nasty manager comes late, looks unprofessional, and has a dirty attitude. Save yourself a headache, they’ll try to overcharge you if you book through a rental site
