I have a good experience i get the car that i order and the staff was very nice
I rented cars a few times in different places across Canada. This one was the worst experience, I cancelled the reservation. I booked a "Camry or similar" for a week, from weeks ago. Today, at the counter, they told me that they can offer me a Taos or Jetta!!! And the most insulting part was that the guy was insisting that "because we don't have a Camry, we offer Jetta or Taos as a FREE UPGRADE" ... Ridiculous. Don't they know that level-wise Tiguan is the equivalent to Camry? Please teach them.
Easy pick up and the guy changed the car to a more suitable one for our needs.
I've rented from Hertz several times, and unfortunately, my experience has been consistently frustrating. The biggest issue is availability. Quite often, there are no cars available to book, and even when you manage to make a reservation in advance, that still doesn't seem to guarantee you'll actually get a car. Good overall experience. Decent car. They were understaffed and overworked. Located fairly close to the cruise ships, and the taxi cabs that we used to and from hurts knew the area well. Overall a decent experience.
