“I had a very disappointing experience with Hertz. When returning the car, I completely forgot about the agreement to return it nearly full, so I left it at half. However, what shocked me was that, in addition to the 50-dollar hold, they charged me another 52 dollars, totaling 102 dollars. This feels like a rip-off. I think it was an unfair and disproportionate charge, as it would have been a much lower fee if they had just kept the deposit. I wouldn’t recommend renting here without double-checking the terms carefully.”
Got a cracked windshield from a truck on the road and I thought in Florida if you got comprehensive it covers it unfortunately it didn't. Hurts is charging me almost $600 to repair a glass and everyone knows that it does not cost $600 to repair a glass they're nothing but sharks they're scavengers . The car that I got needed an oil change after I traveled 5 miles . They don't even check their vehicles to make sure that they're ready for the next renter just all of it all around horrible. $600 for a windshield
The shift supervisor Frank G was extremely rude and unprofessional. He made rude comments to me and my wife who had to drive 30 minutes to the rental place since their out dated machines wouldn’t read my card. My wife gets there and he starts with comments for no reason about how my wife who has a newborn wasn’t really inconvenienced by having to drive there???? After using Hertz for 30 years both in the US and internationally, this location is by far the worst. The staff have no concept of service expectations that should (and normally do) go with the Hertz brand. I booked a car months ago, went to pick up today and they were aware of my booking but didn’t have a vehicle for me!!Didn’t call or text to warn me in advance, and then gave me a wait time of 4 hours!!!
