I have been renting cars from thrifty for nearly 30 years. Rena works the counter and does an amazing job of taking care of getting me a car in a fast, efficient and courteous manner.
So I rented and prepaid a full sized car from Hurtz for a trip I'm doing soon. They sent me some form of confirmation (I thought) in French. I read French but it was a long email and I didn't have the energy to read the whole thing. Rented a Nissan Kicks from this place over the holidays. Vehicle had a note in it that they didn't have time to properly detail the car (that's BS) and that the tires were NOT winter tires, but all-season radials. If you've been to Winnipeg anytime between Dec-Mar, you know that winter tires are a necessity.
