Great pricing (booked through Expedia for a deal) and nice staff. However, the vehicle I reserved was not available for the time I reserved it and I had to wait two hours to receive a vehicle. The vehicle itself was in great condition, had a full tank of gas, and was very clean. The return process was very quick and easy.

My wife and I booked and paid for a car through Expedia but when I arrived to pick up the car I was informed that there were none available. It was frustrating that there was no communication or even problem solving. I understand that the strike impacted car availability but a heads up would have been nice so we could have planned accordingly. Paid for a rental about a month in advance. Get there and am told they don’t have the car and because I booked through a third party they won’t issue a refund. Never using this company again. Edit: I wrote this review while still dealing with Hertz. It turns out the staff misinformed me when she said she couldn’t issue a refund because we had used a 3rd party. Inspect that car well before you take it off the lot. They miss damages on turn-in and then tag the next sucker so they don't have to deal with it. Staff appear sedated (even when you wait for them to finish their scrolling while you stand there). Can't trust what the agent is telling you (or not) so better check the folio before you leave the lot. Billing also untrustworthy, audit with a fine tooth comb or they can round you up to a week, oops!. Have had better customer service experiences with vending machines.

Utterly beyond disappointed. Having a flight delayed and then arriving to pick up my car and waiting 40min just to check in....then another 40min just to get the key to my rental car. Not sure why it took so long other than being told it was busy but just ridiculous amount of time wasted. You can do better.
