Although the car I rented was great and I had no issues with the vehicle itself, I did experience several problems with my billing and checkout process. I rented the car through Orbitz, and after returning the vehicle I was charged a different rate than what I had already paid, essentially causing me to pay twice for the rental. The woman who assisted me at pickup did not clearly explain the fees or taxes. I am leaving a five star review for Ms. Lisa!! It was complete and total chaos for the staff, because the cars that reserved by Gold Members were not available, because of late returns or continued rentals from previous customers. Ms. Lisa was so kind, patient, & very accommodating in a stress situation. She handled everything very well with a smile on her face, doing some super fast and accurate multi-tasking to keep the customers happy. Just terrible, never again! Horribly expensive, don’t have enough cars although I know the 500 was the week before. The car was late and smelt terribly strong of smoke, changed cars and got better but speaking for the 4 groups that were there the same time as me we were pretty upset. Checked in early and did all the crap and still waited 30+ minutes. National next time! BTW… WHO REPORTS KEYS AND MILEAGE TO THE FROMT DESK ANYMORE?!
