This was literally the worst car rental experience I've ever had. I arrived earlier than anticipated and walked up to a dark rental office. I called the number posted on the little sign and was told that the person who could help me would be there in 15 minutes. Over 30 minutes later, a man walked in without so much as a hello. I walked up to him and introduced myself, apologized for being early, etc. He ignored me for another 10 minutes or so as he fumbled around with the computer. Hertz is the worst rental company to use. Their local phone numbers route to an outdated automated system which will have you speaking to other departments that won't help you, and their supervisors told me they do not ever submit customer feedback or any form of input for corporate to improve things. Each department is specialized to very specific niches that your needs likely does not fit into, this is by design. Corporate designed this and prevents all employees from providing feedback on it.
