I made a reservation online and paid for the subcompact suv online. Went in to the hertz, I gave all my information, was checked in and told I needed a major credit card for a deposit. I don't have credit cards other than my empower bank card and that wouldn't work. I had to have my mother drive out from an hour away, I sat there waiting until she arrived. Will not rent from Hertz again. I rent cars all the time for my business. Hertz always has issues. This time I waited for nearly an hour by the time we got the car. But my return time was not extended. The gas was marked FULL on my contract but it was not full. The guy said it would be ok. The mileage out does not reflect the actual mileage on the car. I had an absolutely terrible experience with this Hertz location. Despite receiving a confirmation for my pick-up time after making an online reservation, when I arrived, they told me that they didn't have a car available. They claimed that their booking system does not work properly, but based on my experience, it seems more like a joke than a functioning system.
