Got here, Gold sign up but it meant nothing, one person working, line of 20 some deep, 5-6 people got in front before he told me Gold was not viable.

Terrible customer service. Only one line. When I got to the front I was told to get in another NEW line since I wasn’t gold member with someone who also didn’t want to help. Very long wait for the whole scenario

I rented a car from the Syracuse airport on 10/11/2025-10/16/2025. It was a 2025 jeep and I got the insurance for the vehicle for $200.00 and they held a deposit for $226.00. When I returned the Jeep they said the check engine light was on and they wanted to charge me $126.00, because insurance didn’t cover check engine light. You can cash the car and walk away but the check engine light isn’t covered on a car that’s still under warranty. Crazy! Didn't have the car I reserved months before. Provided a smaller vehicle that didn't fit my needs, promising to call me in a few hours and provide an update. Never got a call. Day 3 and still no call, even to just explain and maybe make it right somehow. I've called THEM multiple times and the phone just rang and rang. I've been a Hertz Gold member for almost a decade and can say unless Hertz somehow makes it right I'll likely never use this company again.
