Just rented a car on Friday 11/7/2025 and the rep I was working with did not upload the registration to the uber portal so I can’t get out and do any uber rideshare trips which was the sole purpose of this rental! I asked if I could be put in another car to no avail because the representative Makayla Johnson refused! I gave this woman $401.00 and did not get what I was supposed to s as a customer. If you are an Uber driver trying to get a rental with your Uber pro card, don't waste your time. They will not take the card even though their website and corporate says they do.
This Hertz is a disaster. They never answer the phones and they are very rude when asked valid questions about their practices. The cars they rent out to Uber drivers are dirty and smell bad often. They also have a problem in their system where the money you pay for the rentals, is put back into your account, and taken out at their leisure. I know a ton of drivers who have made complaints, but the issues are never handled. Definitely time for a regime change. Worst place to rent vehicles. Customer service is awful . I urge the owner or responsible person at that location to please hire at least decent human beings. Words can’t describe the behavior these employees showed.
