Horrible service at this Hertz location. Normally, Hertz is attentive, accommodating, smooth, and quick. However, at this location, there were no directions or indication as to where my rental should be returned. I had to put my hazards on and go inside before they told me the proper directions - which was to park in one of the four Hertz spots that should be available or park in an unmarked spot. Very unfortunate experience. I am a President’s Circle member, which guarantees a one-class upgrade and no-wait service, yet I was given a downgraded vehicle that was filthy (covered in dirt) and only half-charged—an all-electric car—even though I booked a gasoline vehicle with fuel protection, knowing I was driving to New York City (pickup in Falls Church and drop-off in New York City). I’ve rented from this Hertz location a few times before, but I actually went out of my way to come back again just because of Ian’s outstanding service. He truly goes above and beyond every time — super professional, friendly, and always follows through to make sure everything is perfect. It honestly feels like 5-star hotel service!
