The person helping me genuinely hated me. Are you from New York or California? Don’t rent a car here. Had a woman helping me pick up the car and once she saw my ID she turned aggressive and was straight up being mean to me. Talking to me as if I was stupid. Started off calm, seemed happy to see me, but once she saw my ID it was all over. She also didn’t explain any fees to me, so while I was expecting a $400 bill my CC showed $620, I had zero context. I booked a car the day before Thanksgiving, landed at 8:30pm only to find the location closed. Without ANY NOTICE! How do you operate as a business closing 3 hours early without alerting your customers. You knew I had a reservation. No other rental company has cars available. Leaving me stranded in Bentonville for the night. This location needs to be reprimanded by Hertz.
Extortion prices. My LGA to TUL flight was canceled on Oct 30 due to weather, and the only way to get home before Nov 1 (before my diabetic girlfriend ran out of medication) was to fly to XNA and rent a car to Tulsa. Hertz charged $357.53 for a one-way rental that I picked up at 8:30 p.m. and returned at 11:00 p.m. just about 2.5 hours later. Bless this dear employee, who was the only one working on a busy Monday … There was a huge line and she didn’t get frustrated - was very efficient and very much appreciated. Fortunately, it seemed like all those waiting g were being nice. Thank you all.
Worst experience at a Hertz location. No President's Circle, a real head scratcher at a mainly business airport serving Walmart, Tyson, and JB Hunt headquarters.
