They charge you $10/gallon for what you don't fill up. So, either prepay for an entire take that you might not use, or when you're in a rush because you're a busy business person, you have to take the time to fill up somewhere that is miles away. That's great for business people on a tight schedule to get charged an extra $100+. Hertz will be my last resort for future rentals.

Was treated so rudely by Matt, the lead. I am a gold card, and he refused to help me he stated I booked on hotwire and sent me to the end of the line at the non-gold counter. The lady who helped me, I didn't get her name, was lovely, and apologized for Matt. I am still a Hertz customer, regardless of how I booked. I retired from an international airline, and I never treated my customers differently if they booked through a 3rd party. MATT should not be a lead and shouldn't be a customer facing employee.
