I rented a car from Uber and Hertz and the whole time I could not log into Uber cause of some thing Hertz failed to do and this was over a holiday weekend so I had to wait until Monday to complain. When I went there they told me they only rented me the car for two days but my receipt says 7 days. They then left me stranded and took the car back two days early. I have rented from Hertz in many locations, for 25+ years without any issues. This ******* Hertz is a franchisee and based on my experience and the ****** reviews on many, many others they prey on customers by charging outrageous fees. My flight home while on a family vacation was changed to ************** (anyone who has traveled recently understand air travel is challenging). Overland West charged me a penalty of over $4,000 from my original rate of $600 because I retuned the car to SLC instead of *******. In my past exper... read more

Since my review posted on 8/30, Hertz ******* has charged my credit card $10,300 for the 10 day car rental I reviewed. As of today 9/2 I have no invoice or explanation of the charges. Needless to say, I am in shock from this experience with Hertz and they appear to have no regard for the customer or their predatory practices. I am beyond words.
