I was very frustrated upon arrival when the office was closed, despite the fact that our flight was late and the Hertz app stated that they would remain open two hours past closing in case of a late arrival. I am a Gold member, which forced me to rent an Uber to my Air BnB and then come back the next day to pick up the car. They did offer me a luxury upgrade, which is appreciated, but overall the customer service did not meet expectations.
I had a very disappointing experience with Hertz in Corpus Christi. Two families arrived to pick up a reserved vehicle after providing full flight details in advance. Despite this, there was no one at the location when we arrived. We attempted to contact the branch and corporate support, but were unable to reach anyone. No car after making a reservation, check in was insane. Waited 40 mins past reservation waiting for a car and ended up canceling and getting an uber. Rude service. Go literally anywhere else.
