Just went to Hertz, West Springfield. Not only do they not tell you they moved but when I get there-they tell me they are completely sold out. I got confirmation text confirming my reservation. So upset. Had to get a ride to get there only to have to call to get a ride home. Like no consideration whatsoever.
Slow and don’t pick up the phone
My rental reeks of pot and the fuel level was empty. I had one of my employees drive it back to to the office and thats when I discovered it. Too late to return it so I had to deal with it.
Excellent experience overall - they easily accommodated my request for pick up & drop off at beginning & end of rental period. My only complaint is that their device to handle tolls is ridiculously priced. Would've been nice to have option to use my own transponder instead. Lack of affordability meant a normal 70-90 minute drive from Westfield to Worcester MA hospital was 2-3 hours traveling via non-toll roads.
