I was quoted $450 for my rental, and then charged an additional $270 when I arrived for pick up. The employee at the desk had no explanation for this change. Upon returning home, I spent five days attempting to contact the branch manager but the email would not work and I couldn't reach anybody via the provided phone number. I had a fantastic experience with Hertz. When I arrived, they had set aside a Ford Explorer Active for me. Since I was just one person, they allowed me to take a Nissan Rogue SL from PC. The employee on-site (I believe her name was Brenda?) was very helpful and friendly.

The pickup and return process was seamless. I definitely recommend the option to “skip the counter”. There isn’t a better way to pick up a rental.

I reserved a midsize SUV and then they said I am a gold member so I can pickup any car for the area, where there are many sedans and a few options for SUV. When I picked the car there are multiple issues and no one is helpful. Our car AC broke and I called roadside assistance and the AI robot speaks but no human available. Not my first choice to book from hertz if they pass all calls to Robot and no human to speak

★★★★☆ – Hertz at Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport Overall, I had a decent experience renting from Hertz at MSP. I reserved a Toyota Camry Hybrid but was assigned a Hyundai Elantra Hybrid instead. I understand that rental companies generally guarantee a vehicle class rather than a specific model, but the Elantra was noticeably smaller and sat much lower to the ground than a Camry.
