This is the worst experience I had in Virginia with this company I had the around saying that a full size sedan car is a SUV are you kidding me !!!That's not true I guess they said that because they had no cars to give me. To they told me to go to a different location I spent a lot about 4 hours of that day nothing is resolved because I have a higher rate. I rented a car from Hertz on December 1, 2025 and returned it on December 2nd. The return was quick; however, the wait time to rent the car was way above anything normal. I waited one and 1/2 hours to get processed. It's unfortunately that Hertz is very understaffed. The processing agents were kind and did the best they could with the little help they had. Additionally, Hertz standards are mediocre. The floor was dirty. The agents had to process the client, check and clean the car. This is unheard of. Hertz needs to do bette... read more

I’m so glad I didn’t go by the negative reviews, because my experience with Hertz was the complete opposite! I felt the need to leave a review because before renting a car here, I looked at the reviews and was unsure what to expect, since there was a mix of positive and negative feedback. they only answer the phones when they really want to. and they don't want to very often. when I was returning the car, had to sit there for about 30 minutes while other people being checked in or out and in that 30 minutes the phone never rang. there's only one reason it didn't ring. it was turned off. there's nothing about this rental that I'm happy about. no introduction to the one car they had it's just hand me the keys and off I went.
