We booked vehicle one week in advance when we want to pick vehicle they don't have it after 1 hour of waiting time very poor service the staff was co-operated but service level is poor for hertz

Awful customer service! I rented a cargo van nearly a month ahead of time, and got several automated reminders about my pending reservation. When I got to the location, right on time (even a little early), the smug, unfriendly rep (A.J.) said they didn't have a cargo van on the lot. I said I'd be willing to have another vehicle, and he said they didn't have any extra vehicles on the lot. I wish I could give 0 stars because I would. They called me at 0830 asking if I could pick up my rental by 10am because they wanted to close. I said no I will be there at 11-1130 since you close at 12. I show up at 1110 waited until 1153 to have them say “yeah the van isn’t here, we don’t have anything call the reservation line” The agent was absolutely disrespectful and profiled me because of my race. This is unacceptable and I will no longer rent with Hertz.

I made reservations for a Thrifty rental through Expedia and got the Manager's special, so I was a little confused to pull up to a Hertz when I got to the address. While they do not have a phone number that they answer regularly - so I could not call in advance to request the type of vehicle I needed - I was able to make the request for a larger vehicle with leg room and storage space when i arrived, as I was traveling with 4 adult sized teenagers and their luggage.
