You guys need to do better job on dealing with clients and their phone calls. Called so many times with the car issues. No one even bothered to pick the call or to do call back. You guys lost a business and ruined my trip too! Never coming back to hertz ever again. Better to pay little extra than paying you guys . Horrible Experience with Hertz and will not be booking with them ever again. On September 24th I booked a rental car for September 26th at the Abbotsford Airport. The next day on the 25th they tell me that they magically somehow don't have any cars available anymore and that they need to cancel my rental and I also need to call some other number to ensure it's canceled. Cancelled my reservation because they were busy
This is the most pathetic car rental operation in Canada. As a Gold member and frequent traveler Ive rented cars across North America and this is the first and only rental operation that cancelled my reservation for my car less than 24 hours before my arrival indicating they were sold out. They offered no other options and a simple apology. As a result I had to rent a car last minute from a competitor off site for triple the cost of my reserved car and I had to take a cab to get there. During a recent trip, I booked a Hertz rental car through Expedia. Upon our arrival at the airport, we faced quite a hassle. Hertz informed us that our rental had been canceled, supposedly communicated via an email that unfortunately ended up in my spam folder.
