Poor website that crashes and changes pricing and pickup points often. Difficult to navigate and sign up on app or to check and confirm rental details.
Avoid Hertz for sub par customer service. Had to exchange the car three times and all were filthy, defective and a class below what I paid for, charged 2x for taxes. First one was a Ford Bronco Sport that shook over 60 mph, 2nd one had low tire pressure and had to fill air tire and then we called them. They told us to call roadside assistance. They didn't want to come and fix the tire, they said exchange it. Then they try to bill us for 3 tires. WE WERE LIVID THIS happened when we got home. UNREAL. The person at claims said ... read more

Hertz honored my online reservation for a rental car made during a major disruption of air travel due to extreme weather closing Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson airport. When I arrived at ATL early the morning after the closure by bus from Huntsville, where my flight had been diverted to, the Hertz ATL counter was able to honor my reservation and process all other customers with reservations who were there to pick up rentals.
