Clerks has different guidelines on rental procedures and LFT AIrport office states the customers must rent 48 hours in advance prior to arrival date to ensure rental car availability on schedule arrival time. Don’t get caught on same day car rental!! Good luck!!!
Dear Hertz Customer Service, I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the service I recently received at your Lafayette Airport (LFT) location. Two months ago, I made a reservation for a 7-seater minivan for my family trip. Upon arrival to pick up the vehicle, I was informed that the only available option was a Hyundai Palisade. Good selection of vehicles and a friendly, professional staff.
Poor service all around. Nobody answers the phones here. Then they give away the car you paid for, despite their policy being to hold it overnight. Basically they will lie to your face, waste your time, then act like they deserve a cookie for not charging you an extra $200 when they don’t produce a car you already paid for. Entire system needs an overhaul. How about your hire ONE person who speaks English as a native language to manage your phone service ?
