Hertz at PHX airport rented us a “midsize AWD SUV” for 10 days earlier this month. When we arrived, they had “upgraded” (bait and switched) us to a Hyundai Sante Fe which is essentially a FWD 4-cylinder boxy minivan. We were not notified that this had happened and did not know it was FWD until after leaving with it - however all 3 of us did notice a chip in the windshield we figured they already knew about. Best car rental experience I've ever had. The manager went way out of his way to get me the rental truck that I was looking for. The service was amazing from pick up to return. I'd highly recommend this location.
One of my best experiences with rental cars companies, was so happy to be there until I didn’t get my deposit back for fuel, and the fuel was an option for free when I picked the car.
