Hertz is pretty good for rental cars - but this location is absolutely terrible. The woman working is obviously unhappy here. Go somewhere else.
Do not rent from them, they will charge you $200 for a smoking fee when you don't even smoke and they don't give you a refund. Not to mention, I actually rented my car from the Center Line location and when I arrived to pick up the car. They didn't have any. That were driveable because they all needed oil changes except for a car but I reserved and prepaid for a SUV. So I had to drive to the sterling heights location to get SUV. Then got screwed out of $200 saying the car smelled like smoke but no one smoked in the car!
It was my first time picking up a car from this place, and I felt a bit tense after seeing the bad reviews. But I got exactly what I wanted, and the process was very quick—within about 10 minutes, I had my car. Thanks to Anthony for the great service!
Worst experience almost ever. Not the car I wanted and was in horrible condition. Not one person in the location would exchange it nor help. They insisted it was my problem to deal with deferred maintenance.
The high rating is for my recent experience I notice a lot of bad reviews for this location & I also stopped using this hertz location prior because of the former staff was rude, but I was pleasantly surprised and happy this location has a new manager & agent I thought Matt & Anthony had great customer service also my car was nice although it was dirty on the outside & ok in the inside as I noticed a-lot of the reviews speak of cars being dirty etc This location does not have a car wash as you see in most car rentals, So may... read more
