I recently rented a car from Hertz in Currumbin water and was quite disappointed with the condition of the vehicle. The car was very dirty, with bird poop on the rear window and some scratches on the body. This definitely impacted my overall experience, and I hope Hertz will pay more attention to the cleanliness and maintenance of their vehicles in the future.
All staffs are friendly and take care of rentals very quickly.

I had no problem with the vehicle itself. The staff were friendly during both pick-up and return. My poor rating is solely directed at Hertz's reservation and payment practices, which in my opinion are very misleading. My advice is when you make a reservation, make sure you read the fine print as the rental fee quoted on the reservation document as "what you will pay" won't match what you will ultimately pay, even if you don't make any changes to the booking.
