I had no problem with the vehicle itself. The staff were friendly during both pick-up and return. My poor rating is solely directed at Hertz's reservation and payment practices, which in my opinion are very misleading. My advice is when you make a reservation, make sure you read the fine print as the rental fee quoted on the reservation document as "what you will pay" won't match what you will ultimately pay, even if you don't make any changes to the booking. I have recently hired a car through Hertz Currumbin. The first issue was when signing agreements. The paperwork was handed to me and I was asked to sign. I noticed the defect drawing and questioned whether I need to complete it. I was told "no, as they took photos". Regretfully I did not take my own.
