Good experience. But didn't Rent a car this week.
The ladies at the front desk were fantastic! They were so kind and helpful and made the entire experience great! ETA: That was my previous experience. I recommended Hertz in Southaven to several people due to my last rental there. I rented again...this time I was informed there was a $75 cleaning fee or I could take the car and vacuum it myself, because of a few "pet hairs" in the backseat. STOP!!! STOP!!! do not rent from this place. Save yourself heartache and trouble. I had a reservation and called the day of to make sure everything was OK. The girl at the desk mumbled to me that they don’t have a vehicle for me. I asked what do I do she said I don’t know you could go airport and see if they could help. I rented a vehicle here on the afternoon of February 16th, 2026, and want to warn any future renters of this location’s deceptive tactics regarding car class availability. I reserved a “Standard 2/4 Door” (D class) sedan and upon arrival the gentleman informed me there were no cars available in the class I rented and I would have to pay an additional charge for an upgrade.
