When I arrived at the rental counter I was asked my name and told it would be placed on a wait-list. It was then mentioned that cars were being washed. I was 4th in line and folks steadily approached but there was never any sense of urgency or customer centered focus in the process. I've never heard of a Hertz airport location that closes before the last arriving flight. Left me and a few other customers stranded at the airport to spend the night on the floor. Absolutely unacceptable!

I love to post about positive experiences and chalk up negative experiences to someone having a bad day. But this Hertz location is the worst. I live in Atlanta and travel to Baton Rouge every other month. This time I had to book a flight and rent a car the same day. The Hertz app allowed me to book a car; however when I arrived I was rudely told there were no cars available. The lady at desk said I needed to book 72 hours in advance. The only reason this place get 1*, is because 0* isn't available. I booked a car the other day via Hotwire and my card was charged automatically. I go to pick up the rental the next day and was told, they don't have any rental cars. The lady then told me, she tried to call me. I asked what number did she dial, because I didn't have a missed call. She replied, oh...we don't have a number on file.
