I rent a LOT of vehicles for both work and personal use, and I’ve dealt with many Hertz locations over the years. When I first started using the Hillcrest branch, I was extremely disappointed. The staff was unfriendly, and the facility felt poorly managed. However, something has clearly changed. The team now answers calls promptly, greets me warmly, and has my vehicles ready before I even arrive. It seems there’s been a shift in leadership, and I believe Spencer, who I assume is the new manager, has made a tremendous impact.... read more

Calling in and getting the rental was great but we told them on one car that there was something wrong with the car but then we got switched cars. I said there was something wrong with the car and they still gave it to us we went all the to birth Carolina and we noticed there was a bubble in the tire and we were lucky that it did not pop. The bubble is from it being curbed

I was late by an hour for my car pickup. This is on me. I show up, there is a hand written note stating they are out on delivery and a phone number. I call, they say they are 30 minutes out from being back. I wait an hour. Call back, they said they would be another 30 minutes “due to traffic”. Waiting an 1.5 hours without accurate communication is unacceptable. Whatever delivery they do definitely doesn’t take 1.5 hours. This location should be able to staff their office. I would rent a car elsewhere.
