They only get 1 star because I could not give them zero. Awful service. Even with no customers, they don’t have cars to fill the reservations they have accepted. Leads to long waits where you’re trapped in the airport. Do yourself a favor and utilize an alternate service when flying into Montgomery.
After a long day of terrible flight delays, I come down the escalator to see the Hertz employees packed up and heading out the door. All the other rental car agencies are still at their desks renting cars out. It's so unprofessional for an airport rental agency to close before flights arrive. Do yourself a favor and go with any other agency here. Stay away from Hertz, or they'll make sure a bad day gets worse. Had advanced reservation. Arrived at 7:15pm. Counter was closed. Contacted Hertz via chat who told me they couldn't do anything to help me. Horrible business practice when a reservation is on record at an airport with late flights or subject to delay. Clearly this company has no concern for its customers.
Pickup: Vehicle was not ready for pickup upon arrival despite the reservation made weeks in advance. However, the customer service rep was able to get me one sooner than the hour she said it would take. Reminds me of the Seinfeld skit, they know how to take the reservation, but they don’t know how to hold the reservation lol Drop Off: Before operating hours drop off was easy. I've picked up my car at 846 am . And parked car on 15 June 2025 at 800 pm On next day I was expecting they give me returned confirmation but no answer. I tried to call Montgomery office but nobody answered and they are still charging me and I dropped of key in key box on 15 June. I tried to call Montgomery office again and they say we are closed.. and they sill charging me another day.. had to lockup my card until they close my rental
