The ladies that work the counter here are very hard workers and always get me out quick The cars are always immaculate No complaints
The rudest counter staff, and a manager who is even ruder than his staff member. Argumentative, lacking decorum, respect, any notion of customer satisfaction and and service location manager. To be more specific: I have had exactly the same issue as Rita's review from 3 weeks ago. Manager's Special Electric Vehicle situation. Absolutely horrible experience resulting in cancelling my program membership with Hertz.

I rented from hertz in nyc on 48th street and did the “manager special” this is a scam once I got there they offered me a fully electric vehicle which made me very uncomfortable as I have never used one before I asked for another car and they said it would be an “upgrade” and they charged me an upgrade fee of $50 extra for my rental which I found extremely ridiculous and unfair abad a scam as I was given a Nissan Sentra instead. I need immediate Hertz customer support. We booked a car from Hertz on February 15th to 17th 2026 and visited this location to ask a few questions about the tires and return policy. Lindsey at the counter was not very friendly and informed me that the car we had ordered did not have any snow tires. However, later, a mechanic confirmed that all Hartz cars come with all-season tires that are susceptible to severe weather conditions like the recent snowfall.
