I rented a car for three days, and everything went smoothly. The vehicle was practically new, with only around 5,000 km on it, spotless, and ran without any issues. The price was also more affordable compared to most other rental companies. The lady at the front desk was professional and took the time to show me the car, inspecting it to ensure there were no dents or damages before I drove off. My experience with the Hertz York Street station in Ottawa: In Ottawa, I asked the employee at the Hertz station on York Street for assistance because of a defect in my minivan. She wanted to rent me a new car immediately. She was not responsible for complaints. The employee there was not even willing to make a phone call to Road Assistance. Not the closest place for me to rent a car but by far my favourite. The last manager got promoted in their system and some staff have moved around but always the nicest, most knowledgeable and helpful people. Hope that this review doesn`t get TOO many people going there such that they run out of cars to rent for me!
One of the best experience ever to rent a car! Although I had reserved a full-size car, I could get a High-Lander Toyota with in terms of gas consumption, was the same and used it for whole vacation. You feel short staff @ front, but they are nice, welcome and do their best. Thank you guys, and wish you the best with your business!
