I had my car in for repair at SMART Capital on Dunlop Rd Mulgrave. An Uber was organised to drop me off at Hertz. Because this was a not at fault claim there was going to be an optional insurance fee on the rental. The customer service representative at Hertz made me aware that I had the option to process the claim through my own insurer and in that case I would be subject to my car insurance for the rental. The staff at hertz Clayton always on point. They are very knowledgeable and professional. I’m a regular customer, they always welcome with a smile on their face and even though any mistakes in online booking they just call double check with me and correct it. Very helpful and friendly. Service depends on who you are dealing with. One staff member is particularly inefficient. Gave incorrect advice and was most unhelpful. If it wasnt for the insurance company sending me there, I think I'd use a different rental company .
