I would like to give FIVE STARS to Tim & Samantha, who were in the office, when I returned the car - their friendly nature & assistance was impeccable, & they both are a credit to the Company! HOWEVER, It was my first time using this location, & I would have to say - the WORST experience I’ve had with picking up a car from a hire car company! Very poor customer experience
Was referred to this business for a hire car by my car insurance, AAMI. Hertz flatly refused to provide the hire car on the spurious pretext that the name on my VicRoads license is not a 100% match to the name on my credit card. They simply refused to budge even though they have provided a loan car to me a few years ago without any issues, using my credit card - the exact same card. Absolutely the worst car hire experience. I’ve been renting cars for work for over 10 years and never have I been asked to present a receipt as proof the vehicle fuel has been topped up. What!? …. The lady at the counter was very rude and then proceeded to ask me to wait while she checks the car. I waited for 5 mins and walked out. I would give 0 stars if I could… will not be going back!
