Best hertz in Aus. Friendly staff that were not just trying to get you out as quick as possible. Took time to tell you all the info even though I am a seasoned traveller.

I booked a Audi Q7 - a 7 seater, 2 weeks before the rental starts, I spoke to a rep from the same Hertz Perth Airport office to confirm my rental. 3 days before my rental starts, I had a confirmation of my car. However, when I arrived, I was told, I will be given a smaller car - Audi SQ5, We are travelling as a family (including small children), therefore, I need the car space. Downgrading us from a 7-seater to a 5-seater is not a good experience Especially after 2 confirmations! Rental starts from end Sep-2025

标题：高价保险却不保，Hertz租车极不推荐！ 我在澳洲Perth旅游期间向Hertz租车，并明确向柜台人员询问哪一项是“最全面、最高等级的保险”。对方推荐了 Maximum Damage Waiver（最大责任豁免保险），我也照做了，想着贵一点可以安心使用。 没想到在商场停车场发生了一起车顶擦撞限高杆的意外，Hertz 却告诉我：“车顶不在保险保障范围”！而维修费用更是高达 AUD 15,000–18,000（接近新车价）。 我们询问为什么“最高级的保险”却连常见的车顶都不保？若车顶不保，那请问为何Hertz不推出 “Roof Coverage” 或 “Bottom Coverage” 的选项？我们明明愿意支付更高保费，却根本没有被告知这些关键限制。 Hertz还告诉我们可以自己在当地找人维修、取得报价。请问，我们是外国旅客，人生地不熟，这样的处理方式合理吗？ 我们也向 西澳消费者保护局（Consumer Protection WA） 投诉，虽然他们认真受理，但最后也无能为力，因为Hertz的合约写得非常模糊、不对消费者负责，却合法。

Honestly, the cars are fine but the uselessness of their system when it comes to matching up work bookings with secondary passenger details is horrendous. Im part of a company, im renting with a second person, I gave you his name but you cant find a booking or a booking when I give you my name either.... Useless. There needs to be greater dissemination of information to make life easier. No one is hacking a car rental company, 🤣please....
