HALIBURTON LOCATION CLOSED--Despite Hertz's website letting me book a 1-way rental. I called just to confirm that my reservation was okay, since it's been super difficult to find 1-way rentals anymore and got the recording that the location is closed. Called a Hertz agent and rebooked for Lindsay location. Called Lindsay to confirm and the agent there was FANTASTIC! Went above and beyond to confirm there would be a vehicle available for me. Just got the message that Hertz Haliburton is closed. After phoning Carstars at the same location, I found out that they mostly rent to the body shop customers. No one way rentals.

I have given a poor rating to the Haliburton location because after a frustrating time on the Hertz website and being unable to find daily car rental rates, I called the Haliburton listed phone number. It was a Tuesday afternoon and although it was not yet 330pm the phone message stated they were closed. The web state open till five. I phoned the Lindsay,Ontario office and they were graciously helpful.

Jessica did a fantastic job helping us out with our car rental here last month, and really made sure that everything went smoothly for us. When we arrived at our destination in Toronto to return the car she made sure that the hand off and everything was take care of, so we didn't have to worry. Would definitely rent from here again!

Jessica went above and beyond to provide great service when I needed a last minute rental car, and graciously dropped me back home at the end. Excellent customer service!
