I rented a 2026 Tundai Tucson for two days and was pleased to find the vehicle clean and well-prepared upon pickup. I drove it upstate, including some time on back roads, and it handled admirably it's clear this rental company maintains its fleet to a high standard. The staff were professional and welcoming throughout the process. I will definitely be renting from this location again.

I accidentally rented an electric car for a long trip. Christine went the extra mile to make sure that I got the car that best suited my preferences and circumstances. She was also very professional and courteous.

I was in and out no problem, no line. My car was ready immediately. Maybe it’s because I picked up on a Wednesday afternoon? The guy at the front was courteous, no nonsense. I really had no issues at all. I don’t think I’ve ever had this much of a seamless experience renting a car, ever… except maybe in another state.

Hertz Bronx - Stillwell Avenue location is a disaster. Staff treats customers as if they were asking Hertz for a favor rather then keeping Hertz in business.

This specific location is an absolute embarrassment to the Hertz brand. I genuinely don't know what's worse: the vehicles or the staff. It's almost poetic that they are situated next to a strip of repair shops, because the absolute hoopty of an Altima they gave me was one pothole away from needing a tow. The condition was deplorable. As for the customer service? Nonexistent. The staff operates with a universally piss-poor attitude, acting as if doing the bare minimum of their job is a massive inconvenience.
