If I could give a negative star I would! Do not rent from them! They charged a ton extra when I prepaid through Travelocity and we stayed at the beach and was charged $500 for smoking because they said there was ashes on the seat when in fact it was about 5 pebbles of sand! I have vascular disease and do not smoke nor can anyone smoke in a vehicle with me in it! My husband is blind and doesn’t even drive! Stay away from this rental agency!
Worst customer service EVER!!! Zero stars
Staff was cool at check-in even with frustrated customers for whatever reason. Hertz gives you plenty of notice to get your affairs in order long before getting to the counter. I appreciate the member line and the fact that my rental is wrapped up and ready to go on arrival. It is one of the main reasons we stick with Hertz. Car return was flawless with zero issues.
Wouldn’t even give one star. When you first walk up they don’t even acknowledge you are there. We waited forever while there were 2 people behind the counter. We had already booked weeks earlier and asked for a prepaid tank of fuel. The man at the counter said that was not done but we could add it. So we did and paid almost $75 extra for the convenience of not having to get gas. Finally we’re done checking out and find our vehicle. The car was nice, new and clean.
